Booking Policy

Please review our booking and cancellation policies before scheduling your experience.

Introduction

At Float Forty One, we strive to provide exceptional experiences for all our clients. To ensure the highest quality of service and availability, we have established the following booking and cancellation policies. By making a reservation with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these policies.

Reservation Methods

You can make reservations for our services through the following methods:

  • Online Booking: Visit our website at www.float41.com and use our online booking system.
  • Phone Booking: Call us directly at (860) 819-2949 during our business hours.
  • In-Person Booking: Visit our location at 345 N. Main Street, West Hartford, CT 06117 to book your next appointment.

When making a reservation, you will need to provide your name, contact information, and payment details to secure your booking.

Booking Confirmation

After making a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email or text message with the details of your booking. Please review this information carefully to ensure all details are correct. If you do not receive a confirmation within 24 hours of making your reservation, please contact us to verify your booking status.

You may also receive reminder notifications via email or text message 24-48 hours before your scheduled appointment. These reminders are provided as a courtesy and are not guaranteed. It remains your responsibility to remember and attend your scheduled appointment regardless of whether you receive a reminder.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that circumstances may arise that require you to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • 24-Hour Cancellation Policy: We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for all cancellations or rescheduling requests. This allows us sufficient time to offer the appointment to another client.
  • Late Cancellations: If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, you may be subject to a late cancellation fee of $35 per person or per service.
  • No-Shows: If you fail to show up for your scheduled appointment without any prior notice, you will be charged the full amount of the service.
  • Cancellation Methods: Cancellations must be made through our online booking system, by phone, or in person. Emails or social media messages are not considered valid forms of cancellation unless you receive a confirmation from us.

By booking an appointment with Float Forty One, you acknowledge and agree to these cancellation policies. When you book an appointment, the float suite or service room is reserved specifically for you, and we may turn away other clients for that time slot.

Late Arrival Policy

We value your time and strive to ensure all sessions begin and end as scheduled. Our late arrival policy is as follows:

  • Arrival Time: Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time, especially for your first visit. This allows time for check-in, paperwork, and orientation.
  • Late Arrivals: If you arrive late for your appointment, your session may be shortened to accommodate our schedule and other clients. You will be charged the full price of the service regardless of the shortened duration.
  • Excessive Lateness: If you are more than 15 minutes late for a float session or 10 minutes late for other services, we may need to reschedule your appointment and apply our cancellation policy.

We appreciate your understanding that late arrivals impact not only your experience but also the experiences of clients scheduled after you.

Payment and Refund Policy

Our payment and refund policies are designed to be fair and transparent:

  • Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards, debit cards, cash, and gift certificates.
  • Prepayment: Some services, packages, or special events may require prepayment to secure your reservation.
  • Service Sales: All service sales are final. We do not offer refunds for services once they have been rendered or for no-shows.
  • Gift Certificates: All gift certificate sales are final and non-refundable. Gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash.
  • Packages and Memberships: Package sessions and membership benefits have specific terms and expiration dates as outlined at the time of purchase. Unused sessions or benefits cannot be refunded after expiration.

In exceptional circumstances, management may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Any approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method.

Health and Safety Requirements

Your safety is our priority. Please be aware of the following health and safety requirements:

  • Medical Concerns: If you have any health concerns, please consult your doctor prior to scheduling a float or other services. We reserve the right to refuse service if we believe a service may pose a health risk to you.
  • Pregnancy: If you are pregnant, we ask that you wait until you are in your 2nd trimester to float with us, and only after consulting with your healthcare provider.
  • Communicable Conditions: Please reschedule your appointment if you have any contagious illness, skin condition, or open wounds. In such cases, our cancellation fee will be waived with appropriate notice.
  • Substance Use: Clients under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to use our services and will be subject to our cancellation policy.
  • Waiver Requirement: All clients must complete and sign a waiver form before using our services. For minors, a parent or legal guardian must sign the waiver.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone if we believe there is a health or safety concern.

Special Accommodations

We strive to make our services accessible to all clients:

  • Accessibility Needs: If you require special accommodations due to a disability or medical condition, please inform us at the time of booking so we can make appropriate arrangements.
  • First-Time Floaters: For your first float, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled float to fill out required paperwork and receive a tour of the center.
  • Group Bookings: For group bookings or special events, please contact us directly to discuss our group policies and available accommodations.

We are committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all our clients.

Our membership programs offer great value for regular clients. Please note the following membership policies:

  • Membership Terms: Memberships are subject to the specific terms outlined at the time of purchase, including duration, benefits, and pricing.
  • Recurring Payments: Monthly memberships involve recurring payments that will continue until you cancel your membership.
  • Cancellation Notice: To cancel a membership, we require written notice at least 7 days before your next billing date.

Force Majeure

Float Forty One shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations if such failure or delay results from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic, epidemic, government restrictions, power failures, or other force majeure events.

In such circumstances, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule appointments or provide alternative arrangements. If rescheduling is not possible, we may offer credits for future services instead of refunds.
